How can we get help with an assignment?
If you have a question about an assignment please contact your child's teacher by sending an email to the teacher or calling the building office.

Our teachers will be available via email from 9am-Noon and 1pm-3pm each school day.

I am a Jr/Sr High student and I'm having a technical issue with my iPad.  How can I get help?
Technical help is available at 814-239-0348.  Please leave your name, phone number and a brief message and we will return your call.  You can also email support@cksdbulldogs.com and we will contact you via email.  An email can be sent at anytime, but all phone calls and emails will be answered during normal school hours.

I do not have Internet access at home or a smartphone in order to access the online assignments; what can I do?
Please contact the technical help line at 814-239-0348 and leave your contact information(name, phone number & a brief message) so that we can reach out to you.

What is Microsoft Teams?
Microsoft Teams is one of the apps that the Jr/Sr students will use complete their Flexible Instruction Day assignments. Microsoft has provided a guide for parents & guardians that explains Microsoft Teams and how it works.  Click here to view the website.

I have some questions on how to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or  Teams.  Is there an online help guide?

I am trying to open an attachment in Microsoft Teams and I'm getting the error message 'Cannot Open Unsupported File Type'.
This error can be resolved by updating  both the Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Word apps on your iPad. Go to the Self-Service portal app on your iPad and look for both apps.  Select Reinstall for both apps in order to update.

I have a question for other staff in the district (food service, nurse, social worker, school counselor, & special education).  How can I reach those individuals?

Yes, they can be accessed from an iPad, tablet and/or computer.  Please click here for login instructions.

Can we work on Accelerated Reader at home?  How can we access it?
Yes, your child can work on Accelerated Reader at home.  We have enabled access.  Please click on this link. Your child will login as they would at school.  If your child does not remember their username and password; please contact your child's teacher.

I'm working on Study Island and I can't access because the screen won't rotate to landscape.  How do I fix this?
Before you access Study Island via Clever, make sure you close all the browser tabs you have open in Safari or Chrome.  Physically rotate your iPad to Landscape, open the Clever app, login to Clever and then access Study Island.

My iPad isn't working correctly and I think I need to restart it.  How can I do that?
To reboot an iPad, you can perform a warm reboot.  Press and hold the Home button at the bottom of the screen along with the Power button.  Continue to press and hold both buttons at the same time until you see the white Apple logo and then release.  Your iPad will take about a minute to reboot.
