Dear Parents,

     As the beginning of the school year approaches, many parents buy their child school supplies to start the school year.  In order to avoid unnecessary expenses and disappointment, I have included some suggestions for the year.

     I recommend you purchase the following items:  several #2 pencils, erasers, a glue stick, pencil box or pouch, and multiplication flash cards (to keep at home).  In addition, if you would like to donate a box of tissues and/or hand sanitizer to your child's classroom, feel free to do so.

     You will not need to purchase rulers, mechanical pencils (lead pencils), a trapper keeper, folders, magic markers, tape or staplers.

     I look forward to the upcoming school year and getting to know you and your child.
