Clearance Act 153 of 2014

With the beginning of a new year many changes in the laws take place, one of the most recent pieces of legislation that Governor Corbett signed is Act 153 of 2014.  This act updates current laws and regulations in effect with regard to criminal history clearances for persons working in school districts or who have direct contact with children. 

 

Employees and volunteers with no clearances have until December 31, 2015 to obtain the documents.  Apply for all three!

 

Employees and volunteers with clearances more than three years old as of December 31, 2014 have until December 30, 2015 to obtain new documents.  Apply for all three!

 

Employees and volunteers with clearances issued within the past three years (from December 31, 2014) must obtain new documents by the anniversary date.  Apply for all three!

 

If your clearances were issued in January, February or March of 2012 you need to apply immediately for all three!!
